About Denise
Denise Justice:
A Lifetime in the Art World
Denise Justice – Fine Artist, Author & Painting Instructor
With nearly five decades in the art world, Denise Justice has built a career centered on fine art, creativity, and teaching. Born in New York and raised in New England, she began with an apprenticeship in Rotogravure Color Separation, later working in Quality Control in the U.S. and abroad. She has maintained a working studio for more than 40 years, with additional studies in the U.S. and Germany.
After years in Europe, Denise settled in Florida, where she established Denise Justice Art LLC and the Denise Justice Gallery. Today, she teaches adult painting classes and workshops in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel, welcoming both experienced artists and adults discovering—or returning to—art later in life.
Denise is also the author of the Art Beyond 50™ painting book series, created to make painting approachable and enjoyable through clear, step-by-step instruction.
Her career has included exhibitions at the Florence Biennale and Miami Basel, judging exhibitions, leading art tours in Italy, and creating commissioned portraits, murals, and original fine art.
Today, Denise resides in Stuart, Florida, where she continues to teach and create. She shares her love of art with her husband, Bruce, an enthusiastic hobby painter, and together they enjoy painting, travel, and the creative life.
At the heart of Denise's work remains what has inspired her for nearly five decades: a love of art, good instruction, friendship, and a relaxed environment where people can simply enjoy creating.
